DAY 1 : NHA TRANG OR DALAT – LAK LAKE (L/D)

08 :00 Drive from Nha Trang or Dalat to Lak Lake. This is an ideal destination for all travellers with the natural sightseeings, native cultures and highlight tours… On the way, you will unexpectedly see a vast stone look like a sleeping elephant. On arrival at Lak Lake, you will meet our guide and have lunch.

In the afternoon: Explore Yang Lah village of the M’Nong hilltribe in Daklieng, and an elephant ride across the lake, on a dugout canoe on the lake. Drive up to the hill top to visit Bao Dai residence, a historic relic of the former Emperor Bao Dai. From here, you have an overlooking the view of lake, the town and fishing village. Check-in at Lak Resort. Dinner at Lak Lake restaurant. Enjoy the gong music dancing show with local rice wine drinking. Overnight at Lak Resort.

DAY 2: LAK LAKE – DREYSAP WATERFALL – BUON ME THUOT (B/L/D)

Breakfast at hotel.  08:00 Drive to Draysap to see the expansive waterfall, close by is the Dray Nur waterfall which is for an alternative choice. Continue to Buon Me Thuot. Lunch in a local restaurant. A city tour will be in the afternoon: visit the Ethographic museum with such exhibits, objects from local hilltribe groups and a  Buon Ma Thuot penitentiary. Dinner and overnight at hotel in Buon Me Thuot.

DAY 3 : BUON ME THUOT – BAN DON – PLEIKU  (B/L/D)

Breakfast at hotel.  08:00 Transfer to Ban Don, 40 km from the city. Ban Don was a place where they had a history of elephant hunting and taming in the ancient times. You will cross the bamboo suspension bridge crossing the Srepok river, visit the ancient house of the Laotian and the tomb of the elephant hunting King Khunjunop. Elephant ride. Back to the city for lunch. Overland to Pleiku (190km). Dinner and overnight at hotel in Pleiku.

DAY 4: PLEIKU – KONTUM – PLEIKU  (B/L/D)

Breakfast at hotel.  08:00 Visit T’Nung lake. Depart to Kontum, a small and beautiful town in the central highlands on the bank of the mysterious Dakbla  river. The wooden church inside the town is your first visit, close by the church is the Vinh Son Orphanage where hundreds of children live. And you will stop at the village Konklo of the Banah and drop into the community Rong house and the seminary of Kontum. Lunch at local restaurant. Back to Pleiku, on the way drop into village Pleiphum of the J’rai in Ia M’Nong where guests witness the community Rong house, the grave’s cultural statues …Dinner and overnight at hotel in Pleiku.

DAY 5: PLEIKU – AIRPORT (B/L/-)

Breakfast at hotel.  08:00 Visit the two villages of the Banah in Mang Yang: Dektu and Dekrol. Lunch at local restaurant in Pleiku. Ater a brief rest, transfer to Pleiku airport for the flight to Danang or Ho Chi Minh city. End the tour in the central highlands.

DAY 1 : SAI GON – DALAT (-/L/-)

08:00 Depart to the highlands. The interesting journey takes us past Tri An Lake. On the way, visit Dambri Waterfall near Bao Loc and explore the tea, coffee and mulberry plantations. Lunch at one of local restaurants in Bao Loc, then continue our journey to Da Lat, lying at 1475 meters above sea level.

Dalat is popular with visitors because it has a cool and equable climate usually remaining between 10º C and 20º C throughout the year. This ‘eternal spring’ is responsible for its increasing importance as a fruit and flower growing area. First class blooms, soft fruits and vegetables are grown for export and airlifted all over Asia. Dalat has many natural and artificial lakes such as Ho Xuan Huong, Than Tho, Da Thien, and Tuyen Lam bordered by lines of pine trees, which are a well-known feature of Dalat. A trip to Dalat is not complete until one goes to the Dalat Flower Gardens. The temperate climate of Dalat is suitable for flowers such as orchids, roses, lilies, and camellias. Dinner on your own. Overnight at hotel in Da Lat.

DAY 2 : DALAT (B/L/-)

08:00 Explore the colorful market. Then transfer to the meditation pagoda Truc Lam, located in a beautiful mountain setting at the shore of a crystal clear mountain lake. Later a boat takes us to the islands. After a lunch under pine trees, soak in the unique landscape on the back of an elephant. In the afternoon, take a ride on the legendary steam train route to Mat Trai Village. There you will visit the Mosaique Pagoda. Return trip through the vegetable fields. Dinner on your own. Overnight at hotel in Da Lat.

DAY 3 : DALAT – LAK LAKE (B/L/D)

Breakfast at hotel.

08:00 Leave Da Lat to head to Lak lake. We will stop on the way to visit the Mushroom farm and Silkworm factory before check-in to our bungalow resort or a traditional longhouse of the local population. Take a boat to cross the lake to visit the Jun village. Walk through the village, go into their houses to learn about their traditions, customs and cultures. Back to the resort, take a shower, then we have a home dinner at a family living by the lake. After dinner, enjoy the traditional live music show of GONG by M’nong people and drink wine from large urns through a pipe. Stay overnight at Lak Lake.

DAY 4: LAK LAKE – DREISAP WATERFALL – BUON MA THUOT (B/L/-)

Breakfast at hotel.

08:00 In the morning you do an elephant riding around the lake and through the village. Then leave for Buon Ma Thuot. Stop in town for lunch and continue our trip to the Dreisap waterfalls, 30 km to the southwest of Buon Ma Thuot. High altitude operation with rushing water and powerful sounds are really impressive for the visitors. Fogs spray out, soaring along with the forest landscape which create majestic scenery. Visit coffee, rubber and pepper plantations on the way. Come back to Buon Ma Thuot . Dinner on your own. Overnight at hotel in Buon Me Thuot.

DAY 5 : BUON MA THUOT – YOK DON – KONTUM (B/L/-)

08:00 Depart to Yok Don National Park, 40 km to the west of Buon ma Thuot city with 115.545 hectares where is the conservation of natural resources of precious national forest ecosystem. Especially, deducious forest, with rare animals, natural lakes, rivers, waterfalls. This forest has many different species of birds, rare animals, many varieties of orchids and herbs. Yok Don National Park is a place that receives the wild elephants from Tanh Linh forest – Binh Thuan province in 2001.

Take a walk through the village of the Ede ethnic minority, and cross the bamboo suspension bridge then visit the house of the King of elephant hunting.  Back to Buon Ma Thuot for lunch then head to Kon Kum. We arrive in Kon Tum late in the afternoon. Check-in to the hotel and relax. Dinner on your own. Overnight at hotel in Buon Me Thuot.

DAY 6: KONTUM – HOIAN (B/L/-)

Breakfast at hotel.

08:00 Take a walking trip though the village of the Bahnar ethnic minority. You will have a chance to admire the imposing Rong houses, meet friendly Bahnar people to learn about their cultures and customs. We will visit a Wooden church, the Emboidery village and the Orphanage.

Drive on the Ho Chi Minh trail to Hoi An. Lunch on the way. On the road you will marvel at the views as the lanscapes along the road is quite spectacular. We finish our trip in Hoi An before dark.
