Listed as a World Heritage site by UNESCO 1994, Halong Bay is a stunning limestone archipelago stretching over some 1500 square kilometers and comprising nearly 2000 islets. Also known as the bay of ‘the descending dragon’, legend has is that the bay was formed when a dragon plunged into the sea whipping its tail from side to side that carved a stunning seascape of craggy limestone karst islands.

07:45: You will be pick up at your hotel in the old quarter and transferred to Halong bay. The van will be heading to the expressway of Hanoi-Hai Phong for comfort and time saving, also skip commercial shopping center.

11:00-11:30: Visit Pearl workshop on land, go restroom or refreshment, about 20 minutes.

12:05: Arrive in Halong bay harbor, formalities for check in.

12:20: Boarding cruise with warmly welcoming from crew and get welcome drink. Safety briefing on board, while the boat heading the bay.

12:45: The lunch with be served with Vietnamese cuisine & seafood.

14:00: Stop at Luon cave for kayaking, rowing bamboo boat (surchage on your account). If not, you can stay on sundeck to relax and the boat keep moving around to discover other beautiful parts of the bay such as Human head islet, Horse seat islet…

14:45: Arrive at Surprising cave, you will leave the boat to visit the biggest cave in the bay.

15:45: Get back the boat then come back to the pier while enjoying the afternoon refreshment with fruits, snacks…

17: 00: Disembark and get on the bus, using again the express way to return to Hanoi.

DAY 1  HANOI – TUAN CHAU – HALONG  [-/L/D]

07:30-12:00: Our mini van will come to pick you up at your hotel in Hanoi centre. Drive to Halong City.  Enjoy the landscape of the Red River Delta countryside. Stopover at Hai Duong province for refreshment about 30 minutes

12:00: Arrive at Tuan Chau island at, take break and welcome drink at the boat lounge.

Then, transfer to the cruise by tender. Welcome drink, receive cruise briefing, safety instructions and check in. Start cruising and explore Halong Bay – one of the New Seven Wonders of Nature.

Enjoy buffet lunch with Vietnamese dishes served while cruising through the bay, passing the most beautiful and quiet areas, such as Incense Burner, Dog Stone Islet, Fighting Cock, Soi Sim beach, Coconut Three Island

Visiting Tung Sau area, is covered by the leaping rocks, cultured pearl fishery. You can wit yourself the process of the jewel, from culturing to harvesting and sculpting, Moreover, you have a chance to do kayaking based on your preference. Enjoy busy space with pearl maker, you can experience the completion of pearl.

Visiting the beautiful Ti Top beach for swimming (if the weather permits), Ti Top Beach is especially famous for its fresh atmosphere, clean water, and smooth white sand that create a great ambiance for tourists to relax or passengers can take steps to reach on the top of  Ti Top beach to have a whole panorama view of Halong Bay.

Back to the boat and free time while sailing to Luon Bo area, and anchor overnight.

Attend the Cooking class on sundeck – How to make Vietnamese spring rolls – traditional Vietnamese food. Then enjoy Happy Hour (Buy one drink-get one free). It is time for chit chat and relaxing. Watch the magnificent sunset over Halong Bay.

19:30: Dinner will be served

Evening activities include: Leisure time to enjoy a chat around the bar, watching movies and many sort of Vietnam cultural films, enjoy the relaxing atmosphere on board, playing cards or chess, reading magazines in room and dining room. DAY 2  HALONG – HANOI  [B/-/-]

06:00–08:00: The day starts early onboard with Tai Chi session on the sundeck. Tai chi also called Tai Chi chuan, combines deep breathing and relaxation with slow and gentle movements.

Coffee, tea and pastries for breakfast are served in the dining room with morning view of bay’s landscape.

08:00–11:30: Transfer by tender to Sung Sot Cave (Surprising cave). Walk up about 100 steps to the cave entrance. It takes approximately 45 minutes for cave visiting. Visit Sung Sot Cave, one of the most biggest cave in Halong bay with beautiful stalactites and stalagmites. Return to the boat by tender. Proper shoes are highly recommended.

08:00-11:30: Back to the main boat. Check out and settle your bill at reception.

Have a buffet brunch while cruising back to the Tuan Chau Wharf. Relaxing on the sundeck or in the dining room enjoying the bay scenery while approaching the wharf.

Disembark to Tuan Chau Wharf. Say goodbye  to the crew.

12:00–17:00: Return to Hanoi by mini van.

Stop over the middle to visit a traditional workshop and refreshment about 30 minutes.

Arrive in Hanoi. End of the trip.

DAY 2  HALONG  [B/L/D]

06:00–08:30: Taking part in Tai Chi class on the sundeck (duration about 30 minutes)

08:30–19:30: Transfer to day boat for visiting Cua Van village, a small community with around 700 residents living in the root of Ngoc Mountain. Visit Cua Van village by a rustic – row boat, meet the local people who will help you row the boat for sightseeing. Enjoy quiet space and fresh air, you will feel truly relaxing.

Visiting Me Cung Cave, which is also known as Maze Cave. Lying in the absolute protection of the World Natural Heritage – Halong Bay, Me Cung has the complex structure, including many compartments and a corridor of around 100m. According to archaeologists, Me Cung Cave belongs to preliminary Halong culture, about 7,000 – 10,000 years ago. The cave entrance looks like a house roof carving deep into the slopes of the island. Walking into the inside, visitors may get the feelings as if they are entering in a great palace of a Persian King. In combination with the light shining from the outer, sparkling stalactites in diverse shapes and sizes drooping like multi-colored curtains make Me Cung Cave shimmering and fanciful like in paradise. In addition, the blue waters of Me Cung Lake inside the cave create picturesque beauty of nature.

12:30: Embark Swan Day Cruise, start cruising to Bai Tu Long Bay, enjoy the beautiful limestone seascape while passing by Teapot islet, Blockhouse islet, Goat Head islet… then have lunch on board.

14:00: Arrive at Vung Vieng village. Take the rowing boat to go deep into the village and learn how the local people survive among the ocean, interact with them and visit the fish farm. You can choose the do kayaking around this peaceful village too.

16:00: Continue cruising to Cong Do area, visit the mysterious Thien Canh Son cave and relax on the beautiful beach.

17:00: Enjoy a sunset party and join in a cooking demonstration to learn some traditional Vietnamese dishes.

18:00: Cruise back to harbor, pass by Dragon islet and relax on board.

08:00: The luxury bus lines picks you up at your hotel in the Hanoi old quarter and heads to Hai Phong via the express way

10:00: The bus arrives at Got port where you are warmly welcomed at the private lounge at Got port.  

10:15: Our crew team welcomes you on board and then cruise departs for Lan Ha Bay, located in the south of Ha Long Bay, with the unique route.

10:30: Cruise briefing, safety instructions by the tour guide.

11:30: Set lunch menu is served on board while the cruise goes through the untouched area in Lan Ha Bay.

13:00: The crusie reaches Hang Sang – Hang Toi area (Brightness cave – Darkness cave) which  belongs to Cat Ba National Park. Hopefully you are lucky enough to see White Head Langurs who are strictly preserved by Vietnamese Park Ranger and also highly protected in Vietnamese Red Book. It’s time to enjoy a 45 minutes kayaking or Vietnamese bamboo boat with its rower for a lovely trip at the hidden area.

14:00: You will get back the cruise which goes through the non-touristic area in Lan Ha Bay and Ha Long Bay to Got port while continue a spectacular view of the bay

14:30: Enjoy Cooking demonstration and experience the way of making traditional Vietnamese fresh spring roll with the crew on board.

16:00: Farewell time and return to Hanoi

09:00-09:30: You will be collected from your hotel in the old quarter to take the new highway to Got ferry terminal (Hai Phong) where we arrive at around 11:30. You will have a chance to experience on longest and newest bridge in South East Asia area. You can take special tea at the boat by warm welcome.

12:00: Transfer by tender to the cruise.

12:15: You wil be welcomed onboard: enjoy welcome drink, receive cruise briefing, safety instructions and then check in. Start cruising and explore Halong Bay, one of the New Seven Wonders of Nature.

12:40: The cruise proceeds to Da Chong islet, where you can see a lighthouse built by the French over 100 years ago. Have lunch while passing via the islets of Con Vit and Gia Luan. These amazing limestone karst formations rise up out of the sea in an impressive manner. This area is untouched, as not many cruise ships use the route via the Cat Ba Island – Thoi Quyt area – Coc Ngoi islet – through Cua Van to Ba Trai Dao area.

15:00: We progress to Ba Trai Dao beach area of Lan Ha Bay, a separate part of Halong Bay. This is a quiet tourist paradise in Vietnam. The region is known for its pristine beaches and spectacular beauty, having about 400 fascinating islands. You may prefer to try your hand at kayaking or simply just enjoy a swim. This is a great experience, immersed in the crystal clear water of the bay, in the Ba Trai Dao area (Visiting Ba Trai Dao from October to May. From June to September, visiting Tra Bau area, belongs to Lan Ha Bay. Tra Bau is also one of the ideal destinations for kayaking and swimming. Come here, you will have a chance to immerse yourself in blue water.)

18:00: It’s time to try the authentic well-known local liquor as “Ba Kich liquor” (Morinda officinalis). This is a kind of wealthy and tasty liquor which is really highly recommending liquor in Viet Nam. You might never forget this lovely purple liquor.

18:30: Returning to the cruise, you can watch the magnificent sunset over the Gulf of Tonkin. Onboard you may join a traditional cooking class. Our chef will instruct you in the making of some Vietnam dishes. In the early evening the boat has its Happy Hour deal

DAY 2   LAN HA – HAI PHONG – HANOI  [B/-/-]

06:00: Why not rise early to witness the bay at its very best whilst enjoying an invigorating Tai Chi session on the sundeck; after which we serve light breakfast. Upon completing breakfast continue our journey and head out in canoes to explore the bay in the area where the Toi Sang sea cave is situated.

09:30: You will be back onboard for check-out procedures

10:00: Whilst cruising back you can enjoy a delightful brunch

10:30: Tea Ceremony is served at the restaurant. You will learn how to enjoy Vietnamese tea and Vietnamese cultural at this ceremony. Joining Tea Ceremony with our crews team and have great fun with us!

11:35: We arrive to the pier and bid farewell at Got ferry, this is the end of the program. We hope you have enjoyed your time with us and wish you a safe onward journey.

06:00: The day starts early onboard with Tai Chi session on the sundeck.

Coffee, tea and pastries for light breakfast are served in the dining room with morning view of bay’s landscape, then continue our journey.

08:30: Transfer to day boat for visit Viet Hai village. You will take the bicycle trip along the village path and go through rain forests and dark tunnel.  Enjoy stunning scenery of rice fields on the way. Stop at the village to relax. Visit an ancient local house, made from straw, mud, bamboo…you will have chance to see the local life on a valley of local people. Optional electric car service is available (at an extra cost).

Back to day boat for visiting Lan Ha Bay. Lunch served on day boat.

13:30: Visit Lan Ha Bay, free kayaking and swimming at Ba Ham Lake area situated in the middle of a narrow, rectangular area, with the all four sides enclosed by vertical cliffs. (if the weather permit).

16:00: Return to the cruise. You will join a traditional cooking class. Our chef will instruct you in the making of some Vietnam dishes. Watch the magnificent sunset over the Gulf of Tonkin. In the early evening the boat has its Happy Hour deal

19:30: Deluxe dinner is served. Enjoy delicious local food prepared and served for you by our wonderful onboard catering staff. This is a delightful meal in an intimate romantic setting

21:30: Enjoy the landscape of the bay at night up on the top deck. Relax whilst enjoying drinks from the bar. Try your hand at night squid fishing, watching a movie in the restaurant. Overnight on board.

DAY 3   LAN HA – HAI PHONG – HANOI  [B/-/-]

06:00: Why not rise early to witness the bay at its very best whilst enjoying an invigorating Tai Chi session on the sundeck; after which we serve light breakfast. Upon completing breakfast continue our journey and head out in canoes to explore the bay in the area where the Toi Sang sea cave is situated.

09:30: You will be back onboard for check-out procedures

10:00: Whilst cruising back you can enjoy a delightful brunch

10:30: Tea Ceremony is served at the restaurant. You will learn how to enjoy Vietnamese tea and Vietnamese cultural at this ceremony. Joining Tea Ceremony with our crews team and have great fun with us!

11:35: We arrive to the pier and bid farewell at Got ferry, this is the end of the program. We hope you have enjoyed your time with us and wish you a safe onward journey.

14:00: Back to your drop-off point in the old quarter of Hanoi
