DAY 1 : HANOI – THAI NGUYEN – BA BE (-/L,D)

8:00 Depart for Ba Be, passing through the mountainous regions of Tonkin. The lush vegetation, terraced rice fields consist of stunning scenery. Visit the Museum of Minorities in Thai Nguyen en route. Have lunch.
Continue to the mountain road of Ba Be through Bang Lung. Upon arrival in Ba Be, visiting the Hua Ma cave. Check-in home of Tay ethnics in the Pac Ngoi village. Enjoy your free time to explore the village & the scenic, panoramic views. Dinner and ovenright at a traditional wooden house on stilts in Ba Be.

DAY 2 :  BA BE – CAO BANG  (B/L/D)

Have breakfast with your Tay hosts.  08:00 Take the boat trip on Ba Be lake to discover the Ba Be national park, surrounded by rugged limestone mountains, which is Viet Nam’s only natural mountain lake. This important eco-system is best known for its huge amount of butterfly species, over 330! The lush forest clinging to the surrounding mountains is your backdrop as you explore the lake.  Discover Nang river until the Puong cave.
After lunch , head north through the lush mountain passes to the city of Cao Bang.  Dinner on your own. Overnight at hotel in Cao Bang.

DAY 3: CAO BANG – BAN GIOC WATERFALL – CAO BANG (B/L/D)

Breakfast at hotel.  08:00 Drive to Ban Gioc and visit the waterfall. On this day you’ll take a scenic in insightful day trip north of Cao Bang to the beautiful Ban Gioc waterfall on the Chinese border. This picturesque, cascading waterfall is 53 meters high and has an impressive span of 300 meters. The drive there offers unique landscapes, limestone karst formations that soar from the verdant rice paddies of the surrounding farms of local ethnic minorities. Along the way, you’ll see Tay, Hmong and Dzao ethnic minority groups.
After lunch, on heading back to Cao Bang, stop to explore the expansive 2,144 meter Nguom Ngao cavern to discover its brilliant stalactites. Return to Cao Bang . Dinner and overnight at hotel in Cao Bang.

DAY 4 : CAO BANG – HANOI (B/L/-)

Breakfast at the hotel in Cao Bang.  09:00 Drive back to Hanoi. Lunch on the way. Arrive in Hanoi at about 16.00pm.

DAY 1: HANOI – HA GANG (-/L/D)

08:00  Transfer to Ha Giang though the Son Nam District of the Tuyen Quang province. Enjoy the natural landscape and the green fields, the palm hills and the villages. Passing the Tuyen Quang town, you can visit the village of the black Tay minority. Lunch in Ham Yen.  Arrive in Ha Giang in the afternoon. Continue onto Nam Dam village of Dzao eithnic. Visit the village . Dinner and overnight in homestay.

DAY 2 :  HA GIANG – QUAN BA – YEN MINH – MEO VAC – DONG VAN (B/L/D)

Breakfast in a local home.  08:00 Transfer to highland of Ha Giang. You will stop in Quan Ba district to visit the Bo Y minority village, this area has wonderful weather all around the year, then we’ll be passing the Sky gate where you can visit the Sky gate, the fairy mountain and the hand weaving village. Have a break in Yen Minh  for lunch. Continue to Meo Vac, where we’ll visit Dao minority houses and we will have a chance to view the Nho Que river with Ma Pi Leng point. Arrive in Dong Van district. Dinner in local restaurant. Overnight in hotel.

DAY 3: DONG VAN – LUNG CU – HA GIANG (B/L/D)

Breakfast in a local restaurant.  08:00 Visit ancient houses and the Dong Van market. Departured for Lo Lo minority village, trekking to the Flag tower on the top of Lung Cu mountain which is about 1km tall, and view the ancient valley from the top. After that we go to Sa Phin to visit the former Meo King palace. Lunch at a local restaurant.

Back to Ha Giang. On the way we can stop to visit Lung Tao, a small village. If we come here on Sunday, we might have a chance to visit a local market, where the traditional life of high minorities in Ha Giang still remain. Dinner at a local restaurant . Overnight at hotel in Ha Giang.

DAY 4: HA GIANG – NA HANG (B/L/D)

Breakfast outside of hotel. Transfer to Mevillage, just 5 km from the centre of Ha Giang province. Visit Me village, the most beautiful of Tay villages in Ha Giang. You will have the chance to learn the culture and habits of locals . After lunch, transfer to Na Hang at Tuyen Quang. Stop on the way in Chiem Hoa. Dinner and overnight at the homestay at Na Hang.

DAY 5: NA HANG LAKE – BA BE (B/L/D)

Breakfast in local home.  08:00Take theboat tripto visit Na Hang lake on the Eco Tour area,and we’ll see the Pac Pan water fall at the  Pac Ta mount. Enjoy the scenic primary forest at the lakeshore.  Free time to explore the town & afternoon market.

Afer lunch at the local restaurant, we’ll depart to Babe lake and visit Hua Ma cave. Dinner and overnight at homestay at Pac Ngoi village.

DAY 6: BA BE LAKE – HANOI (B/L/-)

Have breakfast with your Tay hosts.  08:00 Take the boat tripon Ba Be lake  to discover Ba Be national park, surrounded by rugged limestone mountains, which is Viet Nams ‘s only natural mountain lake. This important eco-system is best known for the huge amount of butterfly species, over 330! The lush forest clinging to the surrounding mountains is your ideal backdrop as you explore the lake.  Discover Nang river until we reach the Puong cave. Lunch in a local home. Transfer back to Hanoi. Arrive in Hanoi at about 19.00pm.
