The Antidote to the Generic Vacation
There are two ways to see Vietnam. You can look at it through the tinted window of a 50-seater tour bus, or you can get off the main highway and touch the history yourself.
For travelers who want to bypass the sanitized tourist traps, we built the Vietnam Heritage & Nature Discovery – 18 Days / 17 Nights.
This is not a trip for the passive tourist. This is a nearly three-week expedition designed to take you into the primary forests, the underground tunnel networks, and the hidden family kitchens of the country. Here is how we break away from the crowds.
1. We Change How You Move
The way you travel dictates what you see. We swap generic transport for vehicles with character.
In Hanoi, you will explore the hidden farmland along the Red River on the back of a vintage Russian Minsk motorcycle.

Temple of Literature – 1st university of Vietnam – Hanoi city

In the Imperial city of Hue, you will ride vintage Vespas through atmospheric streets to visit a family temple and a folk art printing studio.

In the Mekong Delta, you will trade the highway for a xe lôi (motor cart) and navigate the narrow, palm-shaded canals on a traditional rowing boat.

2. We Access the Hidden History
Vietnam’s history is complex, and the most fascinating parts are often hidden from plain sight.
Moving through the center of the country, we take you to the DMZ (Demilitarized Zone), following the historic Route 9 past The Rockpile and into the Vinh Moc Tunnels to understand subterranean life during the war.
In Ho Chi Minh City, we skip the crowded tourist museums. Instead, we take you to the historic Đỗ Phủ Café. While enjoying a coffee, you will stand inside the actual secret weapon bunker used to supply the 1968 attack on the Independence Palace.

3. We Prioritize Raw Nature & Barefoot Luxury
Between the deep historical dives, this itinerary grounds you in Vietnam’s spectacular, untouched landscapes.
You will spend two days in the Pu Luong nature reserve, walking through terraced rice paddies and swimming at the foot of the Hieu

We dedicate serious time to the Phong Nha–Ke Bang National Park, taking you off the grid to hike through primary forest into Paradise Cave (the longest dry cave in Asia) and kayak the cool blue waters of Mooc Spring.

Down in the deep south, you will explore an organic cacao farm in Can Tho before spending the night at a family-run riverside homestay in Ben Tre, ending your day with a traditional lemongrass and ginger foot bath.
