Hanoi Rustic Morning Vespa tour (half day)

08:00 Our vintage Vespa scooter and the qualified riders pick you up at the hotel and drive to vintage motor café to gather with the group.
 
Meet with the guide for a short briefing about the safety guidelines and itinerary. Start your morning excursion by a ride passing through some of the most beautiful tree-lined avenues, the colonial streets before arriving at a hidden food market. Stroll around the market, observe the local people going by to buy food every day.
 
Our guide will present some of the special foods to help you know more about Vietnamese cuisine. Ride to sites related to the December 1972 B-52 bombing of Hanoi: Kham Thien Street to see the change and difference. Continue to small alleys and lanes to see some old apartment buildings and its overhanging “rooms built in the air”. Take a seat in a small, dark sidewalk shop, meet and interact with a local musician, share stories about life, and enjoy a lovely performance.
 
After you leave the bustling streets, you will arrive at some of the most romantic roads in Hanoi. Stop en route to visit an ancient local pagoda, learn about Buddhism in Vietnam and the custom of ancestor worshipping in Vietnam. Short drive to the Twin Dragon restaurant. In the panoramic view of the West lake, enjoy an outdoor drink of cold beer, soft drink, coffee, or try some snacks.
 
Continue to ride through the bonsai and pets street, through the corner of the new city before stopping at a local restaurant where you can taste Bun Cha – the rice noodle eaten with barbecued pork and seafood spring rolls for lunch. Return to the hotel at 12.45.
