My Son – Hoi An (full day)

In December 1999, UNESCO designated My Son Sanctuary as a World Heritage Site. This Cham tower complex is one of Vietnam’s most beautiful and impressive Cham temples. Although time and war severely damaged these relics, what remains in My Son plays an important role in world history and culture.

08:00 Start the day, with a half day trip to visit the capital and religious centre of the former Champa Kingdom, My Son. Here, 40km southwest of Hoi An, in a lush green valley, are dozens of red brick towers and sanctuaries dating from between the 7^th and 13^th centuries.

Then go to the dock and board on boat cruise along Thu Bon river back to Hoi An with picnic lunch. On the way we will stop at Carpentry village, Pottery village and Cam Ha fish market.
