Hello Nga

We are back in Melbourne after our excellent tour that you organised for us in Vietnam.

The biggest shock on our return has been the temperature change – Melbourne has been in the range of 2 to 12 deg Celsius while we enjoyed the warmth of Vietnam! We must first thank you for your excellent coordination of our travel plan. Every timeline was achieved in every location and all reservations and connections worked perfectly throughout our travel. We continue to recommend your services to all friends and contacts who ask about our travel arrangements.

We must also make particular mention and thanks to Tran Quang Phuong Nam (Tommy) as our Tour Guide and Doan Hong Ngoc (Ruby) as our Driver respectively. At all times we felt safe and relaxed by the expert driving skills of Ruby across a range of traffic conditions and road conditions that we encountered . Tommy showed a wide knowledge of the areas we visited and was excellent company at all times. These two men were delightful company and most definitely added value to the enjoyment of our travels in this trip. We recommend them highly.

We also want to comment on our Hotels. The Silverland Yen was in a very good location, easy walking distance from The Ben Than Market and great dining options near to the Hotel. Our room (on the first visit when we initially arrived) was very good and served us well in every respect for those first two nights. The Hotel staff promised a room upgrade when we returned at the end of our travels and they were as good as their promise -we had an excellent spacious room for our last night in Vietnam.

In Hanoi, the Anatole Hotel was an excellent choice – excellent service from staff, thoroughly modern in all respects and an excellent location offering short walking distance to a wide variety of attractions. The entrance foyer of the Anatole was very grand and welcomed guests with a very impressive environment and excellent service. Again, highly recommended. Our road trip to Pu Luong was a feature of our holiday with a variety of local and regional highlights along the way. Again, many thanks for Ruby’s excellent driving in a challenging environment. The Resort had wonderful views across the local hills and valleys and allowed us to see the amazing rice field seeding for a new crop and contributed significantly to my photographic record of the area. We will print some very large images of some of those pictures for our home.

We have some reservations about the Pu Luong Resort itself as the location represented real challenges for older guests with its sloping and uneven walkways and paths, limited hand rails and some limitations of the configuration of the room. The dining room menu and food quality was limited, in spite of the excellent service by all Resort staff. Our last tour segment was in Hoi An where we are familiar with all that it has to offer and enjoyed every day. We do highly recommend the Bel Marina in Hoi An which had been significantly renovated since our last visit, with an excellent room and facilities throughout the resort. The location was as always excellent and only short walking distance from the centre of the old town of Hoi An.

All transport pickup arrangements worked perfectly throughout our travel and were a credit to your organisation.
