Bat Trang village, a small village in the north of Viet Nam, is about 13 kilometers southeast of Hanoi center, on the other side of the Red River. The village is famous for ceramic and pottery products of high quality.

You will stop at a hidden site on the river bank, where a cluster of local restaurants is situated, offering a great view of the river and the Long Bien bridge. The bridge was built in 1899-1902 by the French, at the time one of the longest in Asia with its 2500 meters. Nowadays it is only used for trains, pedestrians, bicycles and motorbikes. You will have dinner at a nice local restaurant nearby.
